We’re looking for an intern with solid shooting and editing skills to work on the Viceland video blog. You must be able to film under pressure and deliver edits quickly and efficiently. You will have access to a laptop complete with Final Cut, a camera kit (P2) and an opportunity to become a permanent member of the Viceland or VBS Team, which will be sweet because maybe you’ll get to make something like this, or this, or this. Drop us an email if you’re interested. But please don’t bother if you’re crap.

Viceland video - Katie Stelmanis live in London

Viceland video: Wavves’ last show?
Last week Wavves (Nathan Williams to his ma) was in town with his buddy Ryan Ulsh, who plays drums along to his lowest-fi slacker anthems when they actually make it on to a stage. Every Wavves record seems to have some reference to skating or a picture of someone skating on it, so we came up with the fantastically original plan to go skate the park in Mile End. Then it started raining. So we went to the pub instead. A few days after this interview took place, Wavves imploded live on stage in Barcelona and the band high-tailed it back to San Diego to shake and withdraw. So this might be the last time you see them perform for a while.
