The latest installment of VBS.TV’s Shot by Kern is an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how the master coaxes seemingly shy girls-next-door like Amelia here out of their underwear and onto green velour couches, where he gets up close and personal with their crotches and areolas. Pegah is a tiny Iranian lady who works for VBS in London. This week, instead of beating the shit out of cops like her countrymen, she is hanging out with Richard Kern as he takes pictures of naked Italian girls for our upcoming European season of Shot By Kern. Together with poor old director Jim Demuth (who’s having a real shit time) she’s been trying to keep a secret photo blog of her trip, but thanks to our powers of deductive Googling, we uncovered her little diary and have now subsumed it into the bulbous, Akira-like monstrosity that is the Vice blog. We’d catch up on it quick if we were you, because updates will be coming fast and furious now that she’s part of the beast. See you Fridayish?
Easily our favorite byproduct of Shot By Kern, aside from increasing support for our “Bring Back the Bush” pet cause, are these outtakes Richard sends us after each shoot. Basically anytime you see his flashing going off from the front, he is in effect ruining a perfectly good Kern photo by including the pronouncedly un-Kernlike subjects of our cameramen Dana and Bernardo. (Bernardo’s also the show’s editor and does all the Mexican interviews, just so you knows.) We kind of secretly hope that someday Richard will make a series of these shots, but for now we’re just happy picking them up from the cutting room floor and looking at them with an unsettling mixture of laughter and mild arousal.
