We know we bashed the skull scarf a few issues back and we further know that throwing the goat’s head is what contestants on Rock of Love do. But getting naked at 4 AM next to the drained hotel pool while you’re screamingly drunk is maybe the greatest look in the world, so we’ll give them a pass.

How come aging East Village vets always have this smirky, “Seen it all” demeanor even though “it all” can usually be summed up as the same barback’s decaying pussy once every couple of months?

Name one, ONE Rockabilly artist who has ever used a Flying V. And no, Psychobilly doesn’t count.
And just to nip this in the bud before it happens, if anybody mentions Jay Reatard’s name in relation to Rockabilly I will officially shit.

No way in hell Randy Rhoads counts as Rockabilly. I’ve only ever seen pictures of Bo Diddley playing that big square guitar (it’s also pretty dubious to refer to him as rockabilly), and Rocky Burnette may technically count but only because once you make it to second-wave revivabilly all bets are off. Still, photo evidence would be nice here.
