The Lips just got into town today for two insanely expensive shows at Terminal 5 and a couple more reasonable events Monday and later next week, and we just got the new video for "It Feels Alright" off their last album. Yep. Looks like everything’s in order here.

fuck the black lips, they are fucking boring. the deadly snakes are equally good, but maybe they don’t photograph as well eh? or eat poo poo as readily? the fact that vice needs a house band at all speaks volumes about how shitty the brand has become. no wonder mcinnes fucked off.. you guys are old, this bleating championing of a bunch of mildly talented kids two decades odd younger than you is pathetic. fold, FOLD

um, the Black Lips have been vice’s “house band” for something like three years now, since well before St. McInnes left to pursue his dreams of starting another boring blog. Deadly Snakes are all right, but they’ve got nothing on these guys’ songs or live shows.
