Video Games Killed the Radio Star - GTA

So, yeah, Rockstar’s releasing a new version of GTA: Vice City called Vice City Stories. I didn’t think it’d happen, but it’s actually reached the point where we’re all secretly hoping they’ll haul out some piece of shit and we can finally let the barbs fly. We thought we had an in with that Ping Pong game, but then it somehow turned out to be genuinely really good. Even with this guy we went to put it in the machine going, “Whatever, I’ve played Vice City, this is going to be boring, rehashed, blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah…” and suddenly two hours had passed and we were rubbing our thumbs between missions and yelling at the sticky R buttons on the controllers.

What a bunch of fucking dickheads. They’re like that kid who always did well in school but was also really nice so you couldn’t just lay into him. I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of fiery rage the nerds at other game companies are channeling into their programming. Anyway, here’s the trailer for the new guy. It’s supposed to be like that episode of Miami Vice with Phil Collins, but for some reason they gave him the benefit of not being a bald, pudgy greaseball. Click here to watch the trailer.
