*Then there’s no such thing as a “riot birthday” but the point is that nothing changed in a year : those kids in the suburbs aren’t treated like any other french thanks to the most hypocrite and useless law we’ve seen throughout ages which is called “descrimination positive”. The whole point of this law is to encourage employers to employ a certain amount of “coloured” people and so on for the immigrants ( most of them are grand grand children of the actual immigrants) to feel integrated in the society, so a guy is basically employed because of his race but still a racial difference is made although our dear politicians keep on raving that that law’s the key to a successful integration.
