ok, this is such a complex issue that some of these comments are right out of order…white australia is embarrassed by the third world conditions endured by the aboriginal people, but there is just as much call for change within the aboriginal community as there is outside. when it comes down to it, only so much money and support services and government involvement can be used to try and bring these people back out of the hole where they are now.

the biggest call for change is coming from aboriginal leaders, the change needs to come from within and aboriginal people need to work together to get on top of the violence, glue sniffing and poor health conditions.

anyways, before people start posting more ignant shit on here, read this! and get more of an idea what it is really like in australian politics and attitudes!
