Remember a couple weeks ago when we said that adidas was making a sneaker and a jacket for VICE? We just found out they’re coming out on May 20th. The sneaker is white denim with pink trim the same color as our headlines in the magazine, and the jacket is white with pink and black trim too. They’re part of this big adidas thing called ‘adicolor’ that has like 85 parts, including a bunch of films about colors. Roman Coppola made the one about red, and it’s the best one so far. It’s like a combination of South Park and that End of the World website from a couple years ago. Watch. It’s the one with the Japanese Crazies (above). The other videos are also about colors - except for the big one, which is about the VICE stuff.

Gee, I totally underestimated the success of the dollies. Not only are they so successful that a vice staffer responds to my trivial post saying that they’ve moved shitloads of a “limited edition” product that is still somehow readily available ,but he also compounds our awe by gracing us all with the fact that they were “made on a lark” which is really impressive. But what’s most impressive is the fact you spent time responding when you could be counting all that doll money you’ve been raking in.

yeah man i feel like i’m being force fed all sorts of commercial corporate shit. i like to think vice is a way to get away from all that shit. man, it just sucks.
and pink is TOTALLY the best. vice is just hard for “red” cause it’s made by a coppola don’t get me wrong they are great, but it looks like it was done by a nerd who spends 155 hours a week on the internet. and fuck vice for that shitty review of the new liars cd!
