First of all late me state that I’m from a close farming comunity in North Wales. Secondly, let me state that I love animals.
But what I see on this site from both sides disgusts me, and to be honest, you’re both as bad as each other.
Foxes can be a problem to farmers, and sadly their numbers have to be controlled, not only to protect farmers livestock, but also to prevent disease from spreading through their numbers. A small, healthy population is a lot better than a large, diseased population.
But they should be culled humanly and cleanly, which is what this bloke does. I don’t agree with it, but it’s by far a lot better than the poor animals being ripped apart by hounds in a bloody frenzy.
It sickens and shames me to know that others of my race enjoy watching a hapless animal be torn to shreds.
But the attitudes of the protesters saddens me also. If all you’re going to do is scream and swear and post crap, then nothing will be done. No one will take our side seriously unless you take it seriously too.
Get your heads on straight, for the love of god, and make a proper protest, and a proper argument, and then the just might take us seriously.

If you had achieved this number of kills using a bow that would be marginally impressive or if he had used a knife and his natrual senses fair enough, but even still - against a fox that’s really weak. “hunting” foxes for whatever reason really shouldn’t be regarded with any merit at all, because most of the time if you were to hunt one with no more than a knife the zorro would rightfully make you pay for his pel.
Sorry Bruce, but you, like all other fox “hunters” realy are just highbrow cowards. Show me a bear you took down with a spear or less and then you’ll earn a modicum of credit as a hunter… oh shit, silly me I forgot myself - there are no big game animals for you to shoot in Englands capital, just unarmed foxes.

Rachelle Fryatt are you mad. its not about skill. its about pest controll. he’s not out trying to show off his skills he is actually helping the population of foxes to become abit more healthy by having fewer. well said teleri wyn roberts. however, i do agree with hunting because the fox has a very good chance to escape. hunting also means that it is the survival of the fittest. the weak foxes will be caught and and the strong healthy ones will escape and reproduce so producing a healthier population.

I find it hard to believe that people that disagree with fox hunting can associate it with killing a human, rather stupid if you ask me.
I find it anoying that the foxes dig up all the veg that i plant, deficate everywhere and rip open rubbish bags and for that reason i try to kill them by any means.
They are simply a pest. But may i ask how many of the people here that are so against removing foxes eat meat and find that acceptable. You cant choose what animals you can kill and which ones a pretty fluffy animals that should be left alone.

Better get used to this kind of sight in the countryside if the hunting ban stays in. Whilst hunts are allowed to “hunt” the fox has an intrinsic value, in fact in many ways the hunt is the fox’s best chance of thriving. If you absolutely and categorically remove the traditional hunt that value is gone and they become nothing more than vermin which will lead to wholesale gassing, poisoning, shooting, snaring etc. Piles of carcasses versus the odd fox a hunt might catch…I know which I’d plump for

Foxes are a problem. only tonight I found out that my beautiful cat, who had been missing for 5 days, was killed and consumed by our local urban foxes.
I read about feeding and protecting the vermin, fuck that, kill the bloody lot of them. Or at the very least, don’t encourage the scum to stay by feeding them or trying to tame them, they are wild animals and belong in the countryside.
I read that a fox is very unlikely to kill a cat, well tonight is absolute proof that they do and will, maybe even for fun, because I am sure they aren’t hungry!(thanks to you twats out there that feed them_)
