"I haunted my usual haunts, pretty much. Made some jeans, went to the markets, took my dog Tess for walks, saw a couple of bands, got burgers, went skating heaps. I could hardly walk for the next week. On Saturday, we ended up at the drains in North Melbourne - a great place for taking photos because it's on such a massive scale. It feels so removed from reality, but it's also such a distinctive Melbourne spot. I'm super happy with the one of Riley, the way all the lines work, the way his board is flipping up to his back foot. It has a cool feel to it – kind of like a photo from an old skate magazine."
