Miquita Oliver started her presenting career while she was studying for her GCSEs.

Miquita Oliver landed her first gig in 2000 presenting with Simon Amstell on C4's flagship music show, Popworld, which held the unique position among terrestrial music TV shows of not sucking. It went on for six years before Alex Zane appeared on it and it consequently began to suck.

These days Miquita presents T4 on Saturday and Sunday mornings, expertly raising an eyebrow at Hollyoaks plotlines and generally rising above the presenting racket. She also has her own 4Music show, The Month with Miquita, which is also shown on Channel 4.

Her interests include art, music, photography and fashion, and she lives in London.

"I love the camera because it’s a really classic shape and every shot turns out how you want it. So it got me thinking am I a good photographer, or is the camera doing all the work?"
