Connie Chiu est chinoise et albinos. Elle est née à Hong Kong, elle a grandi en Suède, a appris à défiler à Londres où elle est devenue top model. Et ses yeux sont mauves.

Nos amies de Vice Scandinavie ont passé deux jours avec Connie, venue rendre visite à sa famille en Suède. Elles ont mangé des sandwiches à l’omelette et jasé de choses et d’autres, genre ce que ça fait d’être l’égérie de Jean-Paul Gautier et d’être pas mal différente dans deux des régions les plus normatives de la planète : la Chine et la Scandinavie. Si l’on croit en Connie, c’est pas si pire.

The ubiquity of skulls on clothing has created a funnel effect, and at the bottom of that funnel are the Australian raver dads you see changing planes in the Berlin airport wearing distressed skull silkscreens on their pink golf shirts. That’s who is supposed to be wearing skulls today. Not this girl.
