Sian Alice Group would like to meet you
Sian Alice Group are our favourite purveyors of tear-stained melancholy, hope, joy and any other feeling man has successfully wrought with strings, drums and amplification. If you’re a fan of human emotion then I reckon you should bring yourself down to Rough Trade East tonight to see them play sections from their alarmingly good second record, Troubled, Shaken etc, which is released today. If you’re not a fan of human emotion, then screw you, you robot! Why don’t you just retreat into your black hole of repression and wait for Friday night so you can have horrible, competitive conversations with friends that hate you? This is what your phonecalls with your mum are like, isn’t it? You’re a backwards freak and I feel sorry for the toilet you shit in!
However, if you are a normal, breathing, feeling person, the band would also like to invite you to their album launch party on Thursday. Details for that after the jump. Read more »

Ben Rayner was there to take photos and MDMA for us. He didn’t bother shooting too many bands.
