There’s nothing we like better when chillaxing on a Tuesday afternoon with a cup of peppermint tea and a packed lunch box of cucumber sandwiches than listening to some brand new grime. It’s for this reason that we asked Rinse FM’s Elijah & Skilliam to put together a 30-minute mix of recent and forthcoming grime tracks for us today. They kindly obliged and below is the result. We’ve had a pretty excellent run of mini mixes so far, if we do say so ourselves. It was looking unlikely that anyone would be able to top Jackmaster’s recent mix, but we think Smutlee has managed it with this 30-minute masterpiece. It features dancehall, juke re-edits, funky, grime, funky re-edits of classic grime and a forgotten breakbeat garage gem.
