I’m considering a move to Sweden. It’s got awesome public services, impressively clean streets, myriad different kinds of delicious pickled fish and a left-leaning progressive government. Okay, they have a bit of a weird situation with buying booze (you can only get wine and spirits from state-run alcohol shops that are open no later than 6 PM), but it’s good to be organised about getting drunk.
The main motivation is that, as I’ve mentioned before, it has simply too much great music to mention – but we are going to try.
The Crepes are an ace new act that comprises members of Balearic disco blisstronica duo Studio and melancholic electronic indie pop outfit The Embassy. Their Spanish guitar picking and sixties vocals may be a lot more straightforward than their other outfits, but they maintain the air of celebratory melancholia that made those other bands so great.

Dude, as a swede I’m flattered but seriously, you got the politics wrong. Our prime minister is a right-wing who has set some kind kind record in co-opting social democratic words and succesfully f***ing up the country at the same time.
