Fisters of God, welcome once again. I have been mulling over this posting a little too much today and I have decided to serenade you all with something that may leave you temporarily shadowless: Ildjarn. Read more »

Free beer, mariachi music and good bands!

Good band Graffiti Island and good label House Anxiety are throwing a big party tomorrow in east London at an old fire station to celebrate the release of the band’s debut record, “Graffiti Island Seven Inch”. There’s a Mariachi band playing, performing Mariachi-style cover versions of Graffiti Island songs, as are the band (well, they’re not doing covers, as they wrote the songs), and Male Bonding and Teen Sheiks (who will also be playing their own songs). They told us to tell you! There will also be free beer and balloons!
Homerton Strangler - Television Personalities
Today was a lot of fun. I’m just off the train from recording one of the best groups there ever was: Television Personalities. The main inspiration behind Creation Records, Kurt Cobain’s favourite band, you know?
Free MP3 - Double Dagger
Baltimore’s Double Dagger make some of the most urgent, kicking and screaming, guitar-less post-hardcore meets turbo-charged pop you’ll hear just about anywhere right now. In fact that is the last time I will try and describe what they play. It’s just great. Don’t take my word for it though. Click on to listen a whole track for free and make up your own mind as well as hear what the band have to say for themselves. Read more »
Heartbreak made a mix-tape for VICE
Have you ever seen Heartbreak live? Imagine how crazy a Catholic would go if the Pope broke out of the television and started shouting “To Be a Pilgrim” into their ear through a cardboard tube, that’s what people on ecstasy are like in front of Heartbreak. But, assuming they don’t listen to their own record at home, what is it that sends Sebastian and Ali into such retarded abandon? The shit below, that’s what. Read more »
Sex Is Disgusting - Human Hair

So, I said in our first post that we wouldn’t shamelessly promote our label via this website and instead would offer weekly mp3s, our mind-thoughts from our head-brains and little else. We now find ourselves at a point when we must eat our words. Excepting of course that you cannot really eat a laptop. So, instead, we’ll just say sorry for lying to you and go right ahead shamelessly promoting our label.

Listen to the new Horrors album now
Everyone’s been going pretty loopy about the new Horrors album. We gave it 10/10 the other month and now even fat broadsheet journalists are pissing themselves about it. Check out for yourself here before it’s officially released next week.
Free MP3 - Alexander Robotnick
Despite making electronic music for longer than most people reading this will have been breathing (and producing one of the biggest tracks to ever be made by one person, on their own, in a room) Mr Maurizio Dami aka Alexander Robotnick still has a midas knack for knocking out disco gems of unadulterated genius-ness. Click on to listen to the title track from his latest LP Obsession For The Disco Freaks. We promise the quality of music is in no way a reflection of the old guy’s titling choices.
