On July 23rd, EA Games and Vice Magazine partnered to kick off Comic Con San Diego in face-melting style with the Brütal Legend Metal Meltdown. Keith Morris, Unholy Pink, 3 Inches of Blood, and the almighty GWAR headlined the night of brutality, and 2000+ gamers and metalheads later, Brütal Legend was the talk of the town.

Legendary SoCal rock venue 4th and B hosted the festivities, which boasted live music, hands on gaming, complimentary drinks, plenty of Brütal Legend give-aways, and a rousing introduction of 3IOB by game creator (and metal super fan) Tim Schafer himself.

The party was an absolute hit that continued to build on the buzz already surrounding Brütal by bringing its excitement and musical edge to life. With a trail of fake blood and space vomit in its wake, the party - and Brütal Legend - was the unequivocal highlight of Comic Con.
