Roger Bonnivard ha un negozio di animali in un quartiere popolare di Parigi. Roger adora gli animali, così come adora le persone. Era membro del MNR (un partito dissidente del Fronte Nazionale) quando ha fondato l’associazione SDF. SDF in francese è l’acronimo di senzatetto ma per Roger e sua moglie Oddie sta soprattutto per “Solidaritè Des Francais”. Insomma per loro significa “solidarietà ai VERI francesi, fatta eccezione per gli ebrei e i musulmani”. Sono due anni che tutti i giovedì dei mesi invernali distribuiscono un piatto di minestra gratis ai senzatetto di Parigi. Li aiutano un paio di membri della loro associazione: Jojo (uno skin che gli fa da security), Marcel (un veterano della Guerra d’Algeria) e mezza dozzina di anziane signore molto cattoliche. Quella sera di gennaio, c’erano meno di dieci senzatetto e più di cinquanta poliziotti vicino alle macchine dove la minestra ribolliva e la bandiera francese fiera sventolava. Vice: Cosa c’è nella vostra minestra? Roger: Facciamo solo minestra di maiale tradizionale. E’ fatta di pancetta, patate, carote, cipolle e orecchie e piedi di maiale. Perché solo maiale? Perché non pollo o altra carne? Perché il maiale costa meno ed è il vero cibo dei poveri francesi. Per tradizione. I galli mangiavano maiale e noi, dopotutto, siamo ancora galli. Qual è lo scopo della vostra associazione? Guarda quanti poveretti sono costretti a dormire al freddo nelle nostre strade. Purtroppo molti di loro sono europei, perché i centri d’accoglienza traboccano di poveri stranieri provenienti soprattutto dai paesi maghrebini. Il governo francese butta letteralmente via milioni di euro per gli immigrati invece di aiutare i nostri poveri. Ecco, il nostro slogan è “Prima i nostri poveri”. Perché ci sono così tanti poliziotti qui attorno? Preoccupiamo molto le autorità. Vogliono vietare la nostra minestra e dicono che siamo razzisti e che disturbiamo l’ordine pubblico. Farebbero meglio ad andare nelle banlieux a sedare le rivolte. Quando le associazioni musulmane distribuiscono il cous cous il venerdì, nessuno fa notare che il venerdì i cristiani non mangiano pesce, eppure nessuno li taccia di razzismo. Sei razzista? Non siamo qui per parlare delle mie opinioni politiche. Comunque no, non sono razzista. Servirò la mia minestra a chiunque abbia fame. Anche ai neri e agli arabi?
