I suoi capelli erano fradici. Subject: Good article Date: Jan 02 2006 10:06:02 PM Author: Hayden There were parts that I had to read twice because its wording was not as lucid as it could have been, but on the whole i really enjoyed the article. I think Moe should be proud of writing it, quite simply for the fact he took the time out of his life to provide us with something stimulating to read and think about. The hopelessness of the characters reminded me a lot of the book Vernon God Little. Thanks Moe Subject: brilliant. Date: Dec 22 2005 05:16:42 PM Author: Marlboro man simply brilliant. Subject: Australia is on the arse end... Date: Dec 07 2005 05:38:40 PM Author: Mule This is the best article I think I have ever read in VICE. I only knew how fucked up New Orleans was after Katrina because of some shitty hellicopter footage and a couple of newspaper articles. As much as I hate to admit it, the full effect Katrina had on the people of New Orleans was something I really have not thought about – not because I don't care – because every bit of media coverage was so de-humanised, it's almost as if no-body lived there at all. I am so ashamed that I got suckered in by the whole 'gloss-over' thing. I glossed too. This article was the first thing I have read that made me seriously think about Katrina and that is a really sad thing. People here are still racist and still do copious amounts of drugs. New Orleans is only so well loved because it has an unabashed philosophy: "People suck, life sucks, so let's get fucked up and fuck." That's the way life is. The only diffence is that in New Orleans, people realize that, and don't just don't care.
