Humans are extremely selective about choice of mate. Our criteria is to find a mate that is closest genetically to our group. The result of this is the different races. Domestic dogs are not selective at all, they will fuck anything, all day long. Wild dogs are more selective but they have a different way of selecting good genes based on the pecking order of their pack. Both ways work.
