Here are some of the volumes that I mine for “Dear Diary” material. These are all the best-looking ones. Most of the others are just marble notebooks with weird scrawlings on them that even I can't read.

This cover was inspired by artist Tammy Rae Carland.

My friend Mary McCallister designed this cover during my second year of college.

Don't let this cover deceive you. These were the raver years.

Inside this one, I wrote “Love is a Dangerous Angel.”

This is from the years when I was into graffiti. My tag was “Winter.”

This one is filled with funny things that my friends said and some facts, such as “Smurfs are three apples tall.”

Mom got me this one when I was sick.

Inside this one, I wrote “Typical Diary.”

"Secrets?" Enough said.

Perfs in charge.

First year of college.

Inside this one it says, “Private Thoughts Diary.”

i had the same diary with the ballet shoes on it. i was impossible to write in because the lines on the pages were too damn small.
