Here's how the ammo works.
You get + 10 shells for every ammo pickup
also + 10 shells at the beginning of every level.

What this means is that, if you reliably grab the ammo pickups, you're probably running around with a few hundred shells after a few levels. Unless you're using the shotgun during slow time fly around like a fat fucking derigible of doom, you'll probably generate a huge ammo surplus during regular play.

Trust me, if you fire non-stop like you're looking at the olsen twins, the game does keep track, and you will run out of ammo eventually.

What's probably going on is that zombie grinder can't play sound. This would usually be if some other program is using your sound stream (such as winamp or itunes).

You should try closing out any programs which might be using your sound card and playing again.

The reason it happens is that the speed of zombie grinder is based on which song is going, and if the song can't start the game will play with a speed of 0. (it won't move.)

Is there a bug with ammo? After lvl 1 I never run out of ammo.

Still, I didn't think anything can kick this much ass, before I saw the game. My top time so far is 7 min 59 sec, but I'm gonna keep practicing.

My addiction to this game was renewed in force when I realized you can use the opposite forces from the shotgun like a jetpack.
Try this- shoot at your feet while jumping. Once you get the hang of it, you can use the shotgun in midair to float just past that fire you would have landed in, or make it on to that car you would have missed. Also, it's great for stockpiling that extra hard to reach ammo. Which is important for the next part...
Head over to 666 Casualties. In slow time, you can -literally fly- using the shotgun. I don't touch the ground once during that entire slow intro. It takes a little practice to hover just right while still shooting the zombies below, but you can get the hang of it- exploding skulls make vector addition fun! Do it right, and you can get more points in that level for skillz than for straight zombies. It's like a fat, bloody, hardcore Lunar Lander.
However, this move is *very* ammo intensive. Also, sometimes if you fly too far you die outright. In midair. For no apparent reason. Any ideas on why this happens would be appreciated.
Also, I've managed to yoink the flash file and the mp3 files, but I can't figure out how to make the game use the mp3's on my local machine instead of trying to download them from Viceland again. If anyone knows the path to the mp3's on viceland, or a way to make this play offline, please post.

Then it refused to work after that. I had to clear my cache and restart the computer before I could play it again :(.
