The right is back. All over Europe right-wing groups are receiving support they haven’t seen since Le Pen. In Austria fervent Nazi Joerg Haider and his Freedom Party are the nation’s No. 1 choice and racist skinheads are gaining newfound popularity all over northern Europe and Berlin. Even here on the home front things have changed. Far right, extremist groups like Resistance are more popular today than they’ve ever been before. “Let’s put it this way,” says Erich Gliebe, formerly the boxer known as The Aryan Barbarian and now the head of Resistance Records. “Last year our website received about 450,000 hits / month and now we’re up to 1.85 million.” Erich is the protégé of National Alliance founder Dr. William Pierce (the guy who wrote Timothy McVeigh’s favorite book, The Turner Diaries). As with most white power movements, CD sales are their number one source of income, and business is booming. They sell everything from country to Nordic goth, but hatecore is the biggest seller. One of the more extreme CDs they played us is the hatecore metal band Vaginal Jesus. The CD contains 28 songs including “The Gestapo Stomp,” “Mandatory Abortions for Niggers,” “Greasy Fucking Spic” and, of course, “Indians Are Red Nigger Skunks” with the lyrics: “It’s politically correct to care about you - must be a plot cooked up by some Jew.” They also sell merchandise like Hitler mouse pads, SS CD holders, pins, badges, shirts, flags, calendars, and, one of their more recent items, a video game called Ethnic Cleansing. The game boasts “realistic negro sounds actually recorded from authentic negroes” and has three heroes to choose from: a KKK wizard, a nazi skinhead, or an Aryan named White Will who, incidentally, bears a striking resemblance to McVeigh (all pictured above). The goal of the game is to go through the streets killing black men (their leader is named Big Nig) until you can get to the subways which have been barricaded by Jews. “There’s one fucker with a yarmulke and an M-16 that always nails me,” says game designer Brian Ringer. “If you can make it past him, the game is easy to finish.” Resistance is also in development with a morbid clothing design using a swastika and SS skulls. We had assumed they refused to give details because it was too horrific to discuss, but we later found out they thought the idea was so good they were scared of losing it to Nazi competition like Micetrap Distribution at whitepride.com.
With the guidance of William Pierce, groups like the National Alliance are capitalizing on this new swing to the right with more than just e-commerce. They are promoting concerts and organizing “European Cultural Festivals” all over America in the hopes that, within the next few years, whites will be sufficiently prepared for what they see as the inevitable race war (or, as they put it, “racialist” war). “This is not unlike my boxing career,” warns Erich from his office in Cleveland. “We have to get in the ring and fight these guys or we will become extinct.”
