BORDERLINE BIGOTSMexico Tells Immigrants: “No Way, José” (Page 7 of 7)
| Later I met Ester, a Honduran immigrant who lost her legs while trying to catch a train. I asked her what had happened: “All my dreams are lost now. Sometimes I just can’t take it anymore and wish I were dead because of everything that has happened to me. Everything went downhill when I lost $300the only money I had. I went from train to train for 15 days, and when I got to Tierra Blanca I phoned my mom and told her I’d call when I got further. Two days later, I phoned her again: ‘Mom, I lost my legs. I fell from the train. I know I’m still alive and I can hear you and my son, but it’s tough being here.’” |

Please use the term "undocumented", when referring to people who cross the border illegally. The term is criminalizing: people can *commit* illegal acts, but no one can be illegal.
Thank you,

You compare their borders to ours. That’s like saying waterboarding isn’t torture because it’s not as bad as wires attached to someone’s balls. Fuck you people.
Both borders have major issues and there’s more than enough fault for us all to share. Get over yourselves. | | Anonymous, on Jul 6, 2009 wrote: wow the last photo is so harsh it’s like the little engine that couldn’t. heartbreaking. | |

The age-old pesky U.S.-Mexico border problem has taxed the resources of both countries, led to long lists of injustices, and appears to be heading only for worse troubles in the future. Guess what? The border problem can never be solved. Why? Because the border IS the problem! It’s time for a paradigm change.
Never fear, a satisfying, comprehensive solution is within reach: the Megamerge Dissolution Solution. Simply dissolve the border along with the failed Mexican government, and megamerge the two countries under U.S. law, with mass free 2-way migration eventually equalizing the development and opportunities permanently, with justice and without racism, and without threatening U.S. sovereignty or basic principles.
To read details, Google "Megamerge Dissolution Solution". | | Anonymous, on Jun 25, 2009 wrote: Did everyone see the border fence in page 1? That’s the Mexico border fence to keep South Americans out!
Why do we let Mexicans complain about the Mexico-US border fence when they have one of their own to keep South Americans out?
Mexico treats it’s illegal immigrants far worse than the US treats it’s illegal immigrants.
I support immigration but not a Mexico-centric immigration at the expense of other countries. We should give Guatemelans and Hondurans an equal opportunity to come here. Mexico is like a fat man at the buffet that is trying to block all the South Americans behind him from getting in.

that said, some of you are acting like immature chickenshits regarding the issue. strictly because your ancestors were there before theirs were you are entitled to this land? yes?
well. in reality, their ancestors were there long before yours were. you shit-for-brains probably have never read about the mexican-american war. you should look it up. | | Anonymous, on Jun 22, 2009 wrote: immigrant house’s that secretly take in traveling immigrants and give them food, a shower and a place to sleep...sounds like the underground railroad for immigrants | | Anonymous, on Jun 22, 2009 wrote: "must rely on their inner Mexicality to dodge deportation"

That was 1972, back in the day when "long hair" meant drug user. Now the Mexican Border Agents are letting the drugs cross into America. Not on my watch beaners. Do you know what a Mexican Baptism is???? A BEAN DIP!!!! Take your drugs and your scum and stay where you were born. It forces Americans to lower their wages to compete with those who are not Americans. I am Mexican, my family came here legally. The laws in Mexico are Hypocritical. Whenever people talk in favor of illegal immigration, they speak about personal stories that are designed to tugg at the heart, but not the truth of the money behind it. It causes an increase in competetion keeping the wages low for multinational corporations. Even if those companies do not hire illegals directly, and this is why the politians do not really change anything. They would be going against the wishes of their biggest contributors. | | Anonymous, on Jun 19, 2009 wrote: Immigration is a natural phenomena, Many Americans and Europeans live in Mexico. People travel looking for something to fill their needs.. In this case Low class mexicans travel to the US for work. Many mexicans also die in the desert or get shot and are never to be heard of again, Mexicans don’t get hit by trains, they drown in the river or are locked up in vans till they starve to death. Being poor is a bitch. Mexico and many Central/South American countries need to get their shit together, to reduce their immigration indexes.

Furthermore, there are thousands of American (a figure that is growing every month)escaping the US and headed south every year to both Central and South America. | | Anonymous, on Jun 19, 2009 wrote: I guess it’s easier to flee your country and leech off of another country’s welfare system and destroy their healthcare system than it is to organize and change your own country. There’s some kind of underlying message that what... a country shouldn’t have the right to decide how many people it lets in? How about the hospitals and emergency rooms that have had to close because of vast numbers of illegals using them for their primary care. Then anyone who speaks out against the problem is immediately smeared as a racist. Give me a break. The real problem is Mexico is so bad that it’s citizens would rather risk everything than stay there. | | Anonymous, on Jun 19, 2009 wrote: There it is again, ’UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS’ BS name for ILLEGALS
