A MINOR PLACEPhotos By Simona Ghizzoni
Simona is a photographer who lives and works in Rome. She just won third prize in one of the categories in this year’s World Press Photo Award for her heartbreaking reportage from a clinic that treats eating disorders. Now she zips around the globe to give lectures to rooms filled with photographers from all over the world who are, on average, twice her age. These are some pictures she’s taken recently, all bound by the fact that they were shot in places she hadn’t expected to be in.
