Ana Kras is a 24-year-old illustrator, photographer, designer, video-artist, architect, ballet-pose-striker and general do-er of various cool, pretty things who hails from Belgrade, Serbia. You can see a drawing of her equally pretty self above. A few months ago she came to Milan and started to draw people she met and liked. Then she went back home and drew more people she liked. Some of these people were new friends, others were part of her childhood. One of the people she drew was her grandma, Andja, who died a year before Ana was born. “I had fun doing it,” Ana told us, “It reminded me of Obucite Cicu, Dress-Up Cica, a cut-out doll that I used to play with as a kid. I was obsessed with it. I used to draw up my own characters and clothes for her. This was like applying the same process to the people I hold dear.”
