Because I’m an editorial intern I get to boss around the other interns. I get them to do all the horrible stuff. My favourite bit of the job so far was when I got to source a whole 1950s outfit. That was good because that is how I usually dress. My job was basically to go shopping! |

The worst thing about this job is standing in the rain collecting email addresses off total strangers. I did get to meet David Bowie once. He was nice and had a very effeminate voice. |

I grew up in the countryside so I enjoy riding horses and stuff like that. I’m still at university so being an intern is fun. I got to interview interesting people like Sam Kilcoyne, the teenage promoter. That was good. In the future I want to be a journalist. |

My job involves a lot of time typing things in boxes in Excel. I am very efficient at spreadsheets now. I get treated very well but getting up early is not fun. They start very early here. On Fridays we tend to all go out for lunch and then just drink all afternoon. That’s always great. |

This job entails spending lots of money on herbal teas. The bosses always complain that I brew too excessively. Outside of work I like headbanging to things like Led Zeppelin and dancing to fun R&B things. I do the wedding shuffle to R. Kelly. |

My job means having to buy a lot of tall skinny lattes from the coffee place. So far, the worst thing I’ve had to work at was a “Miss Australia Day”. When I’m not working I like to listen to music. I like The Knife and The Hours. I’d like to go travelling soon.” |

The worst thing I have to do is pinning boards way into the evening; those tired eyes and tiny pins. I also get a lot of exercise by running to Starbucks for grande lattes. In my free time I like to ride my bike. I’m really busy so I have my friends on a rotation system for opportunities to see them. |
