DOS & DON'TS

You know 500 years from now some asshole is going to think this is what people in the 20th century looked like. It's like how we take the entire middle ages and go, "Oh yeah, they were a bunch of dickhead knights." Comments/Enlarge | See all

Title: Riding the Cock (top); “Do You Mind That We’re Doing This?” (bottom)
Artist: Judi Rosen
Gallery: The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Media: Dolls, squirrels, lights, fabrics, things
Price: $1,000; $2,200

Judi Rosen makes her art in a little workshop in the back of her cluttered clothing store on East 9th Street. She’s been taking taxidermy classes for a while now, and look how fucking good she is already.

Her newest projects include a tableau of a bunch of jock squirrels and a rabbit raping a baby doll in the woods, an exhibitionist squirrel jerking off in a meticulously crafted subway car, and a baby doll in garters riding an incredibly well-dressed rooster. We could write more about her tattoos and her hilarious boyfriend and her infamous Lower East Side past but we want to run these pictures really big so we’re going to stop now.

These pieces are now on display at the X-Girl store in Soho. They are even creepier in person.
