Dear VICE,
For me I’m happiest when I go to Africa, I give thanks and praises to the Most High, Jah Rastafari, for being on the land at that time. That I can even speak and say I have been on the land in Africa. It is beautiful. Very beautiful. And I see love and righteousness in abundance. Yeah, when I walk along the shores and see the sand beneath my feet, betwixt my toes, and I walk way out to the sea, and it still doesn’t pass my neck, and I’m way out.
And it’s entirely different from when I’m out in Jamaica; you go out a certain distance on one of our little beaches and it becomes deep. In Africa, it’s not, the slope is so perfectly calculated by the Most High.
Food in abundance. The people greet you with love. And they’re willing to learn. It’s just that it’s so large and so vast, such a vast continent, you’ve gotta be rugged. So I get rugged. The hotels are beautiful, the streets are beautiful, the people are so beautiful whenever they smile, their teeth so white. You know, gold, and being in the presence of the Most High.
