If wet t-shirt contests had been invented now rather than by our grandparents, they’d be used as another stick to beat the feckless youth with, Channel 4 would make a documentary about the shame of it, and Carole Malone would use them to denigrate the Butlins-visiting classes. But wet t-shirt contests rule and having one featuring some of our favourite t-shirts was a pretty amazing idea (thanks Elizabeth).
