NIGERIAN QVC FROM HELL
According to this guy who used to work at French Vogue, there’s an editor there who, if she hates something, says it’s “non moderne”. If she likes something it is “moderne” and if she loves something it is “très moderne”. Try it for yourself, it’ll make you look dead fashion. With that in mind, New Power Studio’s Black Duck, the sploshing-filled promo for New Power Studio’s second collection, is really modern, as that description kind of makes a lot more sense than, “bizarro-world Nigerian QVC light entertainment” – which is probably more accurate.

New Power Studio is a brand new sportswear label but the people behind it: scouse fashion stylist Thom Murphy, and descendant of Turkish immigrants Ebru Ercon have history.
