Every year the Melbourne Fashion Festival comes along and tells us what we should be wearing for the next few months. While this is great in theory and everything, there are some pretty fucking crazy outfits that they send onto those runways and we’ve always wondered whether this actually translates into real looks that real people wear in real daylight. In a bid to get to the bottom of this perplexing conundrum, we took a few of our favourite looks from last year’s festival and hit the streets to see whether we could find evidence of the catwalk on the sidewalk.
