28-year-old NYU grad Jordan Mattos’ T-Shirts are one off doodles. But, you could also call them illustrated interpretations of the sort of film collection you imagine all those kids with Nitzer Ebb haircuts in Berlin have – Mattos studied film and understands obscure cool; he lives in Long Island City for God’s sakes.
There are designs based on David Bowie’s lesbian vampire flick The Hunger and the now deceased, leather chaps wearing, sailor obsessed German film director Fassbinder. But Jordon will design whatever tees you ask him too, for a not totally insane $150 in his Paypal account. Cross his palm with silver here.
