A while ago we told you about a competition the people from E4’s Skins were running to find an exciting new costume designer for a web episode that will be made solely by unknowns. The brief was to come up with a costume design concept for either Juliette or Alex – new characters who will be played by unknown actors picked online.
There were some excellent entries (all of which can be viewed online), but the winning entry came from university student Joanna Lawes, whose girly, floral concept included the Louis Vuitton logo, bows, and enough pastel to last you all summer.

Watch out for an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with Joanna, as well as with the head of the Skins costume department.
Go to e4.com/skins for some other entries received for the costume designer competition, as well as the winners of the writer, production designer and director roles. Check out the new trailer below:
The new series of Skins starts on 22 January at 10pm on E4.

skins corrupted my 6 year old sister’s mind.
and pissed off my mam.
i will someday get my revenge on the script writer,
any helpful ideas and suggestions?
my baby sister bleedin loves this show, last time it was on the telly she started picking up on all the swear words in the episodes… probably because i told her off for it, she started using em more.
anyway last year we was in a pizza express eating a birthday meal with the family and the waitress comes round to take our orders. she gets round to my little sister last, asks her what she wants, to which she stands up on er chair and shouts
“yu already ASKED me that you FUCKIN TWAAAAT”
course me and my brother don’t help the situation with our hysterics, and my mum evils us like we taught her this intentionally just to upset her.
so fuck you skins, you ticked off my mam, and no-body messes with my mother except me…
THIS MEANS WAR.

I was expecting a delightfuly satyrical article on how Skins, Bristol and Uniqlo should all be sent to the cemetary. No such luck.

Boobilicious that is hilarious! When I was your sisters age, my favourite show was the “Young Ones” but I never repeated any of the language for fear of being hit hard in the mouth!
