There’s something incredibly captivating about feathers. Glossy black ones in particular. Almost anything featuring black feathers is bound to have me sit up and notice, but the above photo (taken from Face Hunter) had me practically screaming, “Aaaaaah, I want that!”
Well, I say screaming, but a week later I had, of course, forgotten until I stumbled across a feather collar on my internet window shopping destination of choice, Pixie Market. At a pretty reasonable £173 (considering the beauty and detailing), this collar by designers Kalda is almost perfect. Almost perfect and ALREADY SOLD OUT.

My lust for feathers reignited, I turned to the place that any sane person in search of an unusual accessory would: Etsy. And sure enough, there it was. Worn backwards it’ll be almost identical to the Face Hunter girl’s version.

I’m still wondering where she got her feather collar from. And how I’m going to find $130 to buy mine. That’s unless you get in there first…
