Valencia’s Campus Party is the world’s biggest LAN party. Unlike Comic-Con or Starcraft tournaments, its main focus is on providing geeks with a steady 10 gig internet connection for three days, which allows them to download enough information to see them into the next decade.
Roc Herms went along this year and took pictures of users and their desktops. The result is a tender bunch of images that thankfully avoid portraying their owners as 21st century circus freaks. We think.
