Listen up ya’ll. This here movie is about this good ol’ country boy, who got the gift of mountain dancin’. Now I aint no racist and all, but I do like my people white and Christian, just like Jesco White. He represents what America stands for: tradition and hard work. Aint nobody taking that away from us, no sir. People just need a rolemodel like Jesco White, so they can appreciate the simple life I reckon. Sure, he done his wrongs, but aint we all creatures of god? Its up to the lord almighty to decide who gets judged, and his life sure as hell has been a bumpy road.

For all the sins of Jesco, there is plenty of folks that done him wrong. Now D-ray, being his pappy and all, tried to teach him some manners when he was a youngin’, but you know those kids, always doing drugs and such. Constantly snortin’ his brains out, and he aint that smart a fella. The boy lacks moral fiber. D-Ray tried to discipline him time and time again, but there aint no better disciplin then the po-lice. Doin’ time sure taught young Jesco a lesson, but it also leaves a man marked.

D-ray being a famous mountain dancer, and Jesco being kin, he was passed off the gift on to his son, so he would stay away from the devils’ ways. Jesco being the silly son-of-a-bitch he is, ended up back in the jailhouse anyways. You might think Jesco’s a fool aint nothing good comin’ out of this, but a man’s got to make a living, and besides snortin’ glue, the only talent Jesco really had was entertainin’ people with his tappin’.

So he put on D-Ray’s old shoes, some shiny attire, and hooked up with a guitar-player. They traveled many miles in the south, performed at clubs and pubs and what not, but he still was a troubled man. Always causing a ruckus, and being vengeful and fiendish. You just don’t do him wrong, caus’ he got the rage in his blood, smashing this and that, hollering and being a general a-hole, pardon my French.

As vindictive as he is, there’s plenty of hillbilly asskicking, but it’s not all about Jesco tearin’ people a new one. He’s seen his share of love, and he’s stared the Devil in the face. Things you don’t see anymore with them godless Hollywood movies, doin’ botox and what not. This movie is raw and shows how we do things down south. You might just pick up mountain dancin’ yourself.

Volgens mij is het echt wel een vette film, alleen kut dat ie maar in zo weinig bioscopen draait.

Heb me afgelopen weekend gezien. Classic. Echt heftig, interessant, psychotisch en grappig. Heel goed gedaan en inderdaad draaide die eigenlijk in weinig bioscopen. Wat mij betreft had deze film ook in de grotere commerciele bioscopen kunnen draaien. Aanrader in ieder geval.

    Deze film is fucking vet.
