Watching live-streaming action cams are for gunt-fronted hermits who don’t clip their fingernails but we were mesmerized by Puppycam and we’ve been sucked in again by gyrating magi/Sword Heaven megabeast Aaron Hibbs as he tries for the second time to break the World Record for consecutive hula hoop revolutions. He’s just clocked in at 24 hours and has 96 more to go. Oh yes, the maniac is going at it for five whole days and is sporting a catheter plus pee bag to prove he means it. On the accompanying chat forum there appears to be some sort of controversy over whether or not his hoop is currently broken, and someone’s threatening a pledge drive to replace it if so. I guess this is the kind of conversation that seems interesting after you’ve been watching a whirling circle of plastic for hours on end. OK, gotta go lie down now—just ate lunch.
