This kind of superficiality and sensationalism is a trend of 21st century journalism, but it can bring harm. In society like Slovenia or Czech republic where is strong nazi revival it is important to be objective. Slovenia came out like a winner from the WWII, and that’s why Slovenians never felt shame for the history like Germans felt, even if part of them was collaborating with nazis.
More attention is needed when speaking about WWII. It happened just 60 years ago.

What’s this all about... a cold war?
Oh yes, when you were speaking about Yugoslavia like Eastern Bloc country you were wrong again. It was socialist country, but never under Stalin, and Warsaw pact.

Maybe the old ’Partisan Grandfather’ chestnut is the exact reason why you might examine this history a little closer. Butchering tens of thousands of unarmed people is a bad thing, I think we can all agree, which is why when we beat Germany we didn’t line them all up beside holes and shoot them in the head with their wives and children. See where we’re going with this? Man, communism is SO dumb. One of the prime indicators of civilisation is the ability to achieve harmony without killing everyone who disagrees with you.

Reading history is more than skimming wikipedia for talking points, asshole.

Allow me to make a parallel.
It’s like saying "capitalists" and "those people" for Normandy, when capitalists liquidated their opposition.
It was second world war and Yugoslav Partizans (Slovenia was a part of Kingdom Yugoslavia before the war, and it was monarchy) liberated Slovenia from Nazis. And no, Partizans were not all communists, but yes, they were all fighting nazi regime that killed 30 million people in the world.
I still cannot believe how much people forget history. Maybe they just think we are all stupid? Maybe they just think Hitler was ok?
