If plants are capable of the very expressive emotional art form that is making music, than they are emotional beings that experience emotions that are similar to humans and animals. So that is a very big ethical dilema, as far as the food chain is concerned. I stopped eating meat for this particular reason. So if plants truly do experience emotions and high levels of consciousness and I followed my moral compass unquestionably. Than I would soon be feeding the plants with my decaying matter, as I would not survive. So yeah, maybe there is scientific passing of energy that is captured into a machine that translates that energy into some meaningful way, and yes everything is connected, but I think alot of this is human construction. To say that plants have emotions that are complex and intelligent enough to make music, in my opinion, is a stretch. But DMT comes from a plant and that definitely expands ones horizons, so what the fuck do I know.

My dad told me once when I was a kid, how he went into the hills of Pennsylvania during some existential crisis, found a giant oak tree, hugged it and began to cry. It made him feel better.
