You’re calling Vice over because their photo editor from 5 years ago is "some lame"? Oh, hi guy with same IP address as sweater guy.

"I don’t really follow the assertion that this guy is a "wigger". He looks like some lost hippie/hipster. I’d be surprised if he lived in the East Village... you need to have a job to pay the rent here- and this guy definitely doesn’t have one. "

Jesus Christ, the joke is he hasn’t been exposed to black culture past 1975 and so this is his attempt at wigger.

Harkham specifically in his interview says that he wasn’t trying to make an art book for fancy people. The reason it costs $100+ a copy is because that’s the only way for him to get anywhere near breaking even on it. Do you have any idea how much it costs to print regular-size books with full-color illustrations on each page? I will readily agree that the asking price for this book is well past my comics budget but I wouldn’t want Sammy to go into debt just so I could have it for cheaper. Or get fucking Nike to sponsor the thing or something.

"Cool, i wrote the first letter about the two black kids with gun tatoos and teddy bear. i look like a fag."

And how! Did you actually write "horribly, horribly hardcore" and "I surely would have perished" in earnest?

Metal detection as a standard boarding procedure wasn’t instituted until the mid-70s (following the DB Cooper highjacking) and then only in first-world countries, aka, not Colombia.

Oh wow, you weren’t kidding. Click on the picture and look at the cat’s tail. If you follow the reflected pattern of the bricks from where they’re more clearly visible against the curtains you can see it continue across the tail. Now do the same thing with the reflected window treatments above the cat’s head. They’re faint, granted, but they are there. The reason they are more pronounced on the vase is because it is situated farther from the window than the cat. Boggles the mind how the people with the worst understanding of basic optics are always the first to call hoax on photos.

Are you kidding, you think someone photoshopped a cat into a window? Maybe it’s been a while since you left your house or something, but seeing a cat sitting in a window is not exactly what we’d call an improbable occurrence.

How is it misogynistic to say his former girlfriend collaborated with the FBI to draw him into a drug sting? That’s far less sexist than it is simply factual.

Also, he’s not saying latent racism was responsible for the bust (though it probably was), but for the resulting press and t-shirt bonanza and widespread white celebration of Barry’s downfall. Swing and a miss, asshole.

i like him, he took cool kid staples like the bandanna around the neck, sneaker freak-style designer backpac, and blousy cardigan and took them to a decidedly uncool place. The six-pack rings even add an interesting environmental dimension to the whole ensemble.

Right, and that whole Bell Curve business couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that for over 100 years the Aussie government regularly removed aboriginal children from their tribes, restricted abbo access to land, and did pretty much everything within its power to kill them off. Because IQ testing is a completely foolproof means of intelligence assessment and never runs aground on social context.
