I would like to thank you for having at least two mentions of ’Death Wish’ in this issue. That film doesn’t get enough genuine love. Somehow it got into the Bronson kitsch category and it’s so much more than that. Awesome movie with great lines and 70s violence.

it’s funny that no one ever mentions his talent at picking his models. don’t get me wrong, he’s a fucking talent at taking photos, but his selection of subjects is impeccable. he has quite an eye for just-good-looking-enough people. to me, it gives his work a believable quality that so many other photographers i love can’t quite capture.

the zombie survival guide (or ZSG as i like to call it) is the staple of my toilet library. it’s great cover to cover but you can pull it out for a minute or two and it works just as well. i hope the movie studio doesn’t mess with brooks formula too much. it could be a great movie.
